Man Up! Jan. 29 - 31st.

Real men care about the way they look and how they spend their money. Man Up. aims to improve both. There's nothing manly about looking like a slob.

Man Up. is hosted by the Durable Goods Concern--four guys who enjoy well-crafted, fine-looking products that last. They also like to drink.

The vendors:

- Unionmade
- A-B Fits
- My Dutch Bike
- Xetum Watch
- Chronicle Books
- Paul’s Hat Works
- Beckel Canvas
- Taylor Stitch
- Room4 Vintage
- Pierrepont Hicks
- The Belted Cow
- Torino Leather Company
- The Sinfull Chef
- J. Rusten Furniture Studio
- Sui Generis
- Supermodule

  • Photos from Man Up. San Francisco

The weekend was an overwhelming success.  People showed up by the thousands despite intermittent rain and enjoyed great product, people and free booze.  Big thanks to all who showed up.  We’ve started a Flickr group for the event, so please share any photos you took while you were there.

  • Lagunitas is generously donating some IPA for the event.  We’re not charging for it, but we’d appreciate if you made a donation to the tip jar.  All proceeds will go to the Women’s Initiative for Self Employment, because behind every good man is an even better woman.  As always, must be 21 to drink.

  • Click it on through. Thrillist wants to Man UP this weekend. Do you?
Note: Brooklyn Circus, Al’s Attire, Mulholland and Turk and Taylor are not attending as of now, unless they magically change their mind today.  The real list of attendees is here.

  • Man Up. is an intimate retail showcase aimed at uniting the fragmented San Francisco men’s retail scene.  We’re guys, and we feel neglected.  No one ever does anything for us.  We’re trying to change that by providing awesome product, great brands, interesting people and a little education.  Stop by and see us at the Cal Modern Art Gallery during the last weekend in January.  Man up!

  • Presenting Man Up. San Francisco - the video. Running around, kicking trashcans and hopping fences never looked so cool. Big thanks to Brian and Austin Chu, Mark Grothman and Steven Simonetti of the Werehaus.  They did an amazing job.
