Lagunitas is generously donating some IPA for the event.  We’re not charging for it, but we’d appreciate if you made a donation to the tip jar.  All proceeds will go to the Women’s Initiative for Self Employment, because behind every good man is an even better woman.  As always, must be 21 to drink.

Click through the picture to check out Scribe Winery! They will be pouring on Saturday afternoon at the event.

Three years ago they started the Scribe Winery Project with the purchase of a disused plot of land two miles east of Sonoma square.  In reviving the property, they uncovered a rich history, dating to the 1850s, when the pioneering Dresel brothers coaxed this land into a renowned vineyard and winery.  They were leading viticulturalists and outspoken proponents of the cultural importance of wine, food, and agricultural.  Like the Dresels before them, they make wines rooted in European tradition while searching for a distinct, terroir-driven California flavor.  It is with reverence for the Dresels’ stewardship and ambition, and with a commitment to sustainability, that they begin the next chapter of this land’s story.
